Deep Green Water

Artist Statement

As a photographer, I am captivated by the interplay of light and shadow, and I find beauty in the most unexpected places. Using my iPhone, I capture spontaneous moments that reveal the hidden patterns and intricate details of everyday life. My process involves a unique exploration in Photoshop, where I scale, duplicate, and transform images on a 20″ x 24″ canvas to uncover new and surprising elements. This journey of discovery allows me to present images that evoke a sense of wonder and offer a fresh perspective on the world around us. Each piece in my collection is a testament to the beauty that can be found in the fleeting and the overlooked.
